Joan Miró

Of Joan Miró, it’s now possible to admire almost eighty-five masterpieces – a selection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, collages and tapestries from the extraordinary Catalan master’s collection of works owned by the Portuguese State – at the exhibition Materiality and Metamorphosis, open until July 22 at Palazzo Zabarella in Padua.

The exhibition catalogue, printed by Grafiche Antiga, takes up the theme of exploration and innovative use of materials, such as the skeins of thread in the tapestries, the wire of the first collages, the paper as support, in a continuous process of transformation.
