Six years after the last edition, TipoItalia is now back in print with its third issue, focusing on the letterforms of twentieth-century Italy.
Like its predecessors, this issue is the result of collaborative work from a whole host of authors. The Tipoteca Italiana is the new publisher of TipoItalia which will henceforth be published annually, supported by Grafiche Antiga.
TipoItalia features designers and letterform of 20th-century Italy: Butti, Reggiani, Novarese, Frassinelli, Simoncini and Depero. The cover of TipoItalia and letterpress-printed insert by Archivio Tipografico are dedicated to Alessandro Butti.
In this issue of TipoItalia there are articles of Gianluca Camillini, Massimo Chiabrando, James Clough, Alessandro Colizzi, Alessio D’Ellena, Riccardo De Franceschi, Akira Kobayashi, Robin Nicholas, Lucio Passerini, Michele Patanè, Luciano Perondi, Claudio Rocha, Enrico Tallone, Carlo Vinti.
